Dragon Ball FighterZ beta test kicks off this month, Trunks gameplay revealed

While most eyes were on Disney this weekend, Bandai Namco didn’t hesitate to continue dominating Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite in the fighting game world. Its upcoming and highly anticipated fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ showed up big at Evo 2017 this weekend, further showing off why it’s the hottest brawler in the world.

And you’ll be able to play it before the end of the month! Bandai Namco and developer Arc System Works confirmed that the beta test would kick off on July 26 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The beta test will include nine characters, including all either revealed at E3 2017 and the latest member to join the roster: Future Trunks.

Trunks reportedly uses his sword in gameplay, giving him reach that other characters lack.

In addition to the announcement, the game got a lot of airtime at the competition and footage is flying around faster than a Kamehameha wave. This game just looks absolutely amazing.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. The game’s producer stated that a Switch version is possible if there is an interest.
