Nintendo Switch getting nostalgic keyboard in Japan

Thanks to the impending launch of Dragon Quest X, Japanese Nintendo Switch owners will soon see accessories for their console meant to make written communication easier. Enter this Cyber Gadget keyboard that’s been made for the Nintendo Switch.

Just look at this thing and tell me what you think of.

Right, we all think of the GameCube keyboard from way back when, don’t we? That’s third in the gallery above.

Now, I have no idea if this thing will come west. Quite frankly, I don’t think the west has a game coming that would necessitate the accessory. With that in mind, I do think that the ability to slide Joy-Con into a keyboard for communication during play absolutely makes sense.

If you’re going to log eons into an MMO, you’ll want a good way to chat. Is this more efficient than playing the game on a computer? I don’t know, but I doubt it.

It is, though, a neat solution for Switch owners. Plus, it looks hilarious.
