Sony has a white PlayStation 4 Pro on the way, and it’s being bundled with one of the biggest games coming this fall: Destiny 2.
The bundle will include a “glacier white” PlayStation 4 Pro, a white DualShock 4 controller, and a physical copy of the game – a refreshing change from the digital vouchers that so-often accompany these bundles. Speaking of vouchers, though, there is one for the Destiny 2 expansion pass and some “premium digital content.”
When can I get one?
The white PS4 Pro launches on September 6 alongside Destiny 2. The system is going for $449. A PlayStation 4 Pro normally goes for $399, and Destiny 2 with an expansion pass is going for $89 this fall. That’s just a hair under 10 percent off what you’d be paying separately. Not bad.
Meanwhile, if you already have a PlayStation, Destiny 2‘s beta kicks off on July 18 for those who have pre-ordered the game on PlayStation 4. The beta starts on the 19th for Xbox One pre-orders, and then goes into open beta for players on both systems from July 21 to July 23. A PC beta test is scheduled for August, but Bungie hasn’t said any more about that just yet.
Destiny launches on September 6 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version scheduled to hit about six weeks later on October 24.
