LG has taken to its YouTube channel to share a short video teasing the announcement of a new smartphone, which is believed to be the G6 Mini, that will take place on Tuesday, July 11.
Back in August, we exclusively revealed that the G6 Mini — also referred to as the Q6 — will sport a 5.4-inch Full HD (18:9) display, a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 CPU, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP rear-facing camera.
By comparison, the LG G6 features a 5.7-inch screen. That isn’t large by any means, but there appear to be enough people out there who prefer smaller displays to warrant creating a Mini variant.
Don’t get your hopes up, though
It’s possible that LG will only release the G6 Mini in a handful of emerging markets, rather than in the United States, so it can continue to drive sales of its latest flagship.
