Alexa has a neat way of notifying you when your packages are out for delivery

In preparation for its upcoming made-up holiday Prime Day, Amazon has updated its voice assistant Alexa with a nifty new feature that’ll illuminate your Echo’s LED ring when a package is due to be delivered.

After asking Alexa to check on the status of an order, she’ll ask you if you’d like to be notified when the package is out for delivery. If you agree, your Echo will light up yellow when your items are scheduled to arrive.

Alexa, what are your deals?

Recently, Amazon updated Alexa with the facility to accept voice orders for deals included in this year’s Prime Day. All you need to do is ask Alexa about the deals, and she’ll dictate a selection of the best ones.
