Galaxy Note 8 design shown off in new renders

The design of the Galaxy Note 8 still hasn’t been officially confirmed by Samsung, but that hasn’t stopped an onslaught of renders. Earlier this week, we saw the release of a supposed render based on information from the factories where the device is being made. Now, even more renders have leaked.

Case manufacturers are known to start work early simply off of rumors, but since every piece of evidence seems to be pointing to this particular rear panel setup, it’s looking more and more likely that this is indeed what we will see when Samsung chooses to finally debut the device.

These latest ones were posted to Twitter by Safwan Ahmedmia and show off cases by Olixar.

As with all case leaks you need to take them with a grain of salt.

That being said, it really does look like this will be the design of the Galaxy Note 8 when it launches this fall. As much as everyone had hoped Samsung would place the fingerprint sensor beneath the screen – or really anywhere else – it appears the company will keep it next to the camera.

While this is sure to annoy some users, it does appear we’re moving toward a world where fingerprint sensors will be placed under the screen. Rumors are pointing to Apple doing it this year with the iPhone 8, and Qualcomm has announced new technology that could empower Samsung to do the same. The only question is how long it will be before that’s the norm.

Be sure to check out our own speculative renders below.
