iPhone 8 looks miles ahead of the iPhone 7 in comparison photo

The iPhone 8’s edge-to-edge display looks phenomenal when compared to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Just check out the images (below) from Benjamin Geskin, which shows the devices side-by-side.

Now, what you see isn’t an authentic iPhone 8. Rather, it’s a 3D printed mockup based on rumors that have been circulating out of Chinese factories. That being said, the design looks pretty close to the schematics and dummy units we’ve been seeing.

When the iPhone 8 launches later this year, it’s said to come with a 5.8-inch OLED display that features slimmer bezels than the Galaxy S8.

Unfortunately, as the images above show, there appears to be an unsightly cutout the top of the display to accommodate the front-facing cameras and sensors.

As we’ve heard before, the iPhone 8 may be slightly larger than the iPhone 7, though it’ll feature a much larger display. As the printed image on the devices show, the iPhone 8’s elongated display will show much more content, making pictures and videos pop.

What the mockup from Geskin doesn’t show is whether or not the device will feature a Touch ID sensor underneath the display or on the back of the handset.

The iPhone 8 is rumored to feature an all-glass design, wireless charging, a 5.8-inch OLED display, a dual-camera setup, and more. Apple will likely introduce the device at an event this September.
