Galaxy J7 heading to the U.S. with a new name and design

Samsung is reportedly developing a variant of the Galaxy J7 (2017) exclusively for Cricket Wireless, which will be called the Galaxy Halo when it hits the shelves.

Judging by reliable tipster Evan Blass’ render, the Galaxy Halo sports a slightly different design to the Galaxy J7 (2017); the camera has been positioned in a more discreet location and the antenna lines have been removed.

It’s unclear whether the Galaxy Halo will feature the same internals as the Galaxy J7 (2017), but it’s safe to say that it has retained its sibling’s 5.5-inch Full HD display and 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy Halo should launch before the end of July

SamMobile believes that the Galaxy Halo will be priced in the region of $350 to $400 when it launches before the end of July. Although, nothing’s confirmed.
