Sony has pushed back the launch of the Xperia XA1 Ultra in Canada, which is one of its most successful markets for budget-friendly smartphones. The handset was scheduled to hit the shelves on June 22, but has been delayed until July 5.
Having had the opportunity to play around with the Xperia XA1 Ultra earlier this year, I’d confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful smartphone with an impressive camera and a sturdy build that doesn’t break the bank.
As for specific internals, the Xperia XA1 Ultra packs a 6-inch Full HD display, a MediaTek MT6757 octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 23MP rear-facing camera, a 16MP front-facing camera and a 2,700mAh battery.
A lot of bang for your buck
That’s a lot of bang for a handset that’s only set to cost around $350 when it launches in the region through local carriers Freedom Mobile and Videotron next month.
