Oops… Detroit: Become Human Twitter post removed after calling out Xbox One

Somebody forgot to tell a member of the Sony PR team that the internet is serious business! If you exist in some kind of official capacity, you must take everything absolutely seriously while surrounded by digital inhabitants with the self-control of rabid wolf children, and you are to make sure nobody is ever offended while insults are hurled between polarized parties over the most trivial of matters.

These are the rules, one which Detroit: Become Human’s Twitter account broke when it… *gasp* called out the Xbox One!

Geez! Don’t you realize that video game loyalty is the touchiest subject of all, Sony? What’s the matter with you?

Naturally, a flock of thin-skinned internet dwellers, probably self-proclaimed tough guys on their usual forums, charged into the post to call out the offenders over being offensive and childish, and it has since been scraped clean, digital residue and all. Well, not really because plenty were quick to “print screen” that tweet and share it with the world.

Makes you wonder how the internet generation would react to “SEGA does what Nintendon’t.” I can hear the pounding keyboard and heavy breathing all the way through time space.

Detroit: Become Human will be released for the PlayStation 4 in 2017, and it’s from the same people who brought you Beyond: Two Souls…
