Google Glass receives its first firmware update in almost three years

Life is strange: After almost three years of complete silence, Google has issued an update for Glass.

While the upgrade doesn’t bring any major new features to the unit, it does bundle a plethora of bug fixes, together with the option to pair Bluetooth input devices, like a keyboard and mouse.

It’s unclear why Google waited until now to roll out the firmware, but we’re guessing it ultimately released it to say a final bon voyage to the cyborg-like eyepiece.
