BlackBerry KEYOne launches in additional markets

BlackBerry has launched the KEYOne in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. As you’d expect, pricing varies by country, but from what we can tell, it remains in the region of $550.

As we’ve said in the past, there isn’t a huge market for smartphones with keyboards, which leaves the KEYOne at a bit of a disadvantage. However, if you’re looking for one, it’s as good as they come.

The KEYOne isn’t the most powerful device on the market

For those in need of a refresher, the KEYOne packs a 4.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 825 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 12MP rear camera and a 3,505mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Not what you’d expect from a $550 device, right? But I guess if you’re buying the KEYOne it’s for its physical keyboard and not its internals, though at that price, it would be nice to have a bit more power.
