Shadow of the Tomb Raider leaks, all but confirms the game’s existence

Square Enix had a relatively quiet E3 2017, but recent leaks show that it is actually sitting on one of its biggest stories of the year. The leak sprung from California-based creative agency Take Off, who posted concept art for an unannounced Shadow of the Tomb Raider. More telling than concept art though are also mock-ups of potential logos, promotional art, and even what appears to be a Steam banner.

Lara also appears to use a variety of new items, including bows and arrows, spears, machetes, and the usual survival gear.

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have not commented on the leak. Rise of the Tomb Raider was released in 2015, and it saw a second life in 2016 on the PlayStation 4. The timing is right for a sequel if we see one in 2018.

Keep in mind, this is all a rumor for now. Nothing is solidified until Square Enix says so.
