Galaxy Note 8 announcement date coming sooner than you might think

by Josh Levenson | June 19, 2017June 19, 2017 8:30 am PDT

According to an a industry insider, Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York during the third week of August, which seemingly corroborates recent rumors. It’s believed that the firm brought the launch date forward to get a head start on its rivals (cough, cough, Apple, cough).

We don’t know a great deal about the Galaxy Note 8, other than that it’s tipped to sport an almost identical design to the Galaxy S8 Plus and should be equipped with a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge Infinity Display, a dual-camera setup, a Snapdragon 836 CPU and at least 6GB of RAM.

Here’s what we think the Galaxy Note 8 will look like

We here at TechnoBuffalo are huge fans of the Galaxy Note lineup, which is why we commissioned Benjamin Geskin to create some speculative renders of the Galaxy Note 8 based on rumors — and it’s starting to look like they’re pretty accurate. Check them out below.
