According to an a industry insider, Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York during the third week of August, which seemingly corroborates recent rumors. It’s believed that the firm brought the launch date forward to get a head start on its rivals (cough, cough, Apple, cough).
We don’t know a great deal about the Galaxy Note 8, other than that it’s tipped to sport an almost identical design to the Galaxy S8 Plus and should be equipped with a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge Infinity Display, a dual-camera setup, a Snapdragon 836 CPU and at least 6GB of RAM.
