Good news: Samsung hasn’t received any reports of Galaxy S8 fires

There’s no denying that Samsung royally screwed up with the Galaxy Note 7, but it appears that the firm has learned from its mistakes as it hasn’t received a single report of a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus bursting into flames — and they’ve been on the market for almost two months.

As you’re probably aware, a faulty battery compartment design led to the Galaxy Note 7’s unfortunate demise. To stop a similar incident from occurring again, Samsung introduced a series of new safety measures, including an 8-point battery check, which it subjects its entire smartphone lineup to.

An explosion could have marked the end of Samsung Mobile

In all honesty, we can’t help but think that if a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus had exploded, many customers would have lost the confidence they’ve only just regained in the South Koran company and consequently canceled their orders, likely marking the end of Samsung Mobile.

Thank goodness the firm managed to pull it out the bag.
