Galaxy Note 8 leak suggests a lot of Galaxy S8 inspiration

Those hoping that the Galaxy Note 8 will look drastically different to the Galaxy S8 could be out of luck. On Friday, a couple of images appeared online showing off a front panel that allegedly belongs to the handset, and at first glance it could easily be mistaken for the Infinity Display on board the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Put plainly, the Galaxy Note 8 looks like a Galaxy S8 that’s been stretched from both ends. The only notable rumored design changes include a dedicated slot for a retractable S Pen and an improved Bixby button, which has been texturized to prevent you from accidentally pressing it when taking a screenshot or adjusting the volume level.

Could our renders be accurate?

After catching a glimpse of this latest leak, we’re starting to feel pretty confident that the renders we commissioned for fun are actually somewhat accurate. We already know that the handset won’t ship with an optical fingerprint reader and all signs point towards it sporting a dual-camera setup, so it looks like we have all bases covered.

What’d you think?
