Pikmin 4 “progressing” as Miyamoto breaks PR code

by Joey Davidson | June 15, 2017June 15, 2017 7:00 pm PDT

Yes, folks, we’re still getting a Pikmin 4. At least, Nintendo’s still working on it.

The word comes directly from Shigeru Miyamoto himself as he broke the public relations department’s rules and talked about the game with Eurogamer at E3.

He laughed as he said this:

“I’ve been told not to share anything about this from PR…but I can tell you it is progressing.”

Back in 2015, he told the world that the game was being made and nearly finished. Perhaps the jump to the Nintendo Switch is what’s holding it back so far.

Regardless, as a big fan of the Pikmin franchise, hearing that things are moving along is good news. Hopefully we’ll see the game at a Direct in the near future.
