The Galaxy S8 Active may sit alongside the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus at the head of the Geekbench table when it hits the shelves.
First spotted by the folks over at Gear India, a listing for a smartphone bearing the model number SM-G892A, which we believe to be associated with the Galaxy S8 Active, surfaced on Geekbench’s online database on Tuesday.
The handset racked up a pretty impressive score of 1,842 on the single-core and 6,394 on the multi-core test; almost identical to the results the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus generate when put through their paces.
The Galaxy S8 Active packs a Snapdragon 835 CPU and 4GB of RAM
Beyond the score, the listing reveals that the Galaxy S8 Active is powered by the same Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM as its all-glass counterparts, and will also ship running a modified build of Android 7.0 Nougat.
