Games aren’t the only things being announced at E3. During Microsoft’s E3 event, Porsche took the opportunity to unveil the 2018 911 GT2 RS—the fastest production 911 ever made.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is just like every other Porsche out there—aesthetically beautiful and powerful. Porsche showed off a silver model on stage with a giant spoiler and yellow caliper brakes. It also featured gunmetal wheels that probably come in somewhere between 19-21 inches.

Unfortunately, Porsche didn’t get into specifics about engine and the power it will output. The previous generation GT2 RS packed 620 horsepower. Autoblog reported last week the new GT2 RS would get an enhanced twin turbocharged found in the Turbo S with bigger turbos and water injection that produces 641 horsepower. We can’t confirm that just yet, but its a forgone conclusion it will come with a bump in performance over the last generation.

Coincidentally, the 911 GT2 RS will be the cover car for Forza Motorsport 7, revealing the exact reason why we saw a car unveiled at a gaming convention.

As with the last generation of the GT2 RS, the 2018 model will most likely be a limited production vehicle as well as costing many thousands of dollars. You’ll probably have to settle with driving it in Forza Motorsport 7.
