Motorola has lifted the veil on two more smartphones, and this time the handsets are squarely targeted at the budget-minded consumer.
The new Moto E4 and E4 Plus are now officially launching, and while their specs won’t set the world on fire, they will make great entry level devices or a solid backup.
Starting with the Moto E4, the new handset will feature a 5-inch 720p display with an 8MP rear shooter a 5MP selfie camera. It will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm 425 or MediaTek 6737 depending on the region, and will be backed up with a 2,800 mah battery.
Next up is the Moto E4 Plus which will have a 5.5-inch 720p display, with a 13MP rear shooter with a 5MP up front. It will be powered by the same processors as the E4, but it will sport a gargantuan 5,000 mAh battery. This sounds like the perfect phone to use for international travel where you need to pop in a localized SIM card and never know when you’ll be able to top up your battery.
The Moto E4 will retail for $129.99/€149, but will also be available as an Amazon Prime Exclusive Phone which will have its pricing details revealed later. Meanwhile, the E4 Plus will go for $179.99/€199.
