GOG has beaten Steam to the punch for the start of its annual summer sale. Over 1,500 games from its catalog are now available at heavily discounted prices, some of which are as much as 90 percent off and all of which are entirely DRM-free!

The sale will last for two weeks, and yeah, there’s just simply too much to choose from on GOG. If we’re going with the number one best-selling game at the start of the sale, you’d then be checking out BioWare’s classic RPG Neverwinter Nights Diamond.

And truly, bless GOG because I never thought I would ever see Neverwinter Nights be a best-selling game ever again in my entire life. Take that, naysayers of classic games!

$10 for more gaming than you possibly have time for

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magicka Obscura is just $1.19, mere lunch money for one of the finest RPGs ever made. Icewind Dale 2 Complete is just $3.99. Masters of Orion is just $1.49, and it’s more intense strategy counterpart, Total Annihilation, is just $1.49 as well.

That’s countless hours of brilliant gaming right there for less than a sixth of that 10-hour shooter you’ll pay $60 for this coming fall.
