Google could start rolling out the Android O update for the Pixel and Pixel XL as early as August, reveals David Ruddock‏ from Android Police, who claims he received a tip from a “reliable source.”

Obviously, the release date is still subject to change, but it’s reassuring to hear that the firm is aiming to distribute the upgrade, which is still yet to be assigned its official flavor, as soon as possible.

Several OEMs have confirmed that their devices will receive the update

On a related note, several manufacturers, including HTC, Nokia and OnePlus, have confirmed that their latest devices will receive the update after Google provides them with the source code and they make all of their required changes.
