A promotional poster featuring Chinese actor and singer Hu Ge was shared on Weibo on Tuesday, confirming that the long-rumored Honor 9 will be announced at an event in Shanghai, China on June 12, where many believe that Ge will take to the stage to perform.

Like the last teaser that made the rounds, this latest one features a big number nine alongside the typical Honor logo for a dual-camera setup, bringing a new lease of life to earlier rumors claiming that the handset will sport a 20MP monochrome and a 12MP regular sensor.

Expect to see a Full HD display and a Kirin 960 SoC

In addition to a flashy camera module, the Honor 9 should also ship with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Kirin 960 System-on-Chip (SoC), 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable internal storage, an 8MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
