Apple updates MacBooks with Kaby Lake and lower price

Apple updated its MacBook laptops at WWDC with upgraded internals.

The main update is the inclusion of the latest generation Kaby Lake Intel processors in the MacBook line-up. This was the big omission with the announcements of the Touch Bar MacBooks back in the fall. Apple seems to have gotten the message and updated the computers within nine months.

Speaking of Touch Bar MacBooks, Apple lowered the starting price of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch bar down to $1,299. The updates also includes faster SSDs for all of the MacBooks.

The new MacBooks are available starting today.
