Here’s your look at the Xbox Scorpio chip

We’ve seen 3D renderings of the chip powering the next Xbox, currently called Project Scorpio, since E3 last year. Now, Microsoft has offered up what we believe is the first photo of the chip that’ll be powering games this fall. Microsoft gaming VP Mike Ybarra posted the photo below to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon:

Just a few more days

Whatever Project Scorpio is going to be named officially – Xbox One Point Five, Xbox Two, Xbox Plus, Xbox 20X6 – we’ll know soon. Microsoft will most likely be unveiling the console for real as part of its E3 press conference on Sunday, June 11. It’s possible the company could drop some more news sooner, but that seems unlikely.
