Adobe wants to help you say goodbye to scanners for good

Adobe has released a new application for Android and iOS, called Adobe Scan — which, as its name suggests, turns your smartphone into a fully-fledged document scanner.

The application uses what Adobe is calling “advanced image processing technology” to transform scanned images into perfectly rendered, searchable PDFs.

Once you’ve scanned a document, you can annotate and edit the text, and upload a copy to Adobe Document Cloud, so you can access it across all of your devices.
