LG truly made a splash with the G6. Its latest flagship features a gorgeous nearly bezel-less display and sturdy metal and glass build that’s one of the best phones around. Unfortunately, it was one-upped by the Galaxy S8 and it’s been unceremoniously forgotten.
But what if LG is already busy planning a counter-move that will finally outshine Samsung? DBS Designing conjured up a concept of the LG V30 that would undoubtedly become the best phone around if LG did indeed made this phone.
DBS Designing’s concept of the LG V30 is all display in the front. If you thought the Galaxy S8 was impressive, this concept takes it to another level minimizing the bezels to nearly non-existent status. Complimenting the gorgeous display is its impossibly thin metal frame and back that oozes luxury.
On the outside the V30 is gorgeous; inside it’s even more stunning. The V30 rocks 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage with MicroSD expandability, Android 8.0, USB-C and is Daydream ready out of the box. Something the G6 currently isn’t. And that gorgeous display is a 5.8-inch QuadHD+ panel that stands toe to toe with the Galaxy S8 any day of the week.
Similar to the G6, it will also sport a dual 13MP and 8MP camera—which is a standard sensor and a wide-angle sensor. Powering all of this is a gigantic 5,500mAh battery. And the cherry on top is its water-resistant design.
If LG does make this concept a reality, it would rightfully supplant the Galaxy S8 as the best phone around, handily.
