Days Gone will be at Sony’s E3 show in “a big way”

At E3 2016, Days Gone managed to grab a huge chunk of Sony’s press conference show. Then, at their press booth, that same demo played during the presser was played for a longer stretch behind closed doors during appointments.

The new IP from Sony Bend got a lot of play time at the show. And then, well, nothing. Silence is all we got from the zombie game that definitely isn’t a zombie game… please stop calling the freakers “zombies,” because they aren’t, okay?! Jeeze. I sort of remember that level of exasperation from one of the developers during that behind closed doors showing when a member of the press mentioned zombies.

I digress. This not-zombie-game will be at E3 2017 in “a big way,” according to voice actor Sam Witwer during a recent Twitch stream. That stream was caught by the folks at PlayStation Universe.

This is mostly interesting because of the radio silence we’ve gotten for the game since its E3 2016 debut. Clearly, Sony’s still making it, and if it’s going to be back in “a big way,” that means they’re ready for it to make a splash.

Expect that splash to land in June during E3.
