Nintendo has announced its 2017 Summer of Play Tour. The company will travel to cities all across the United States, set up a big play area and give folks a chance to go hands-on with and learn more about their platforms and titles.

Of course, the Nintendo Switch will be on-hand during this tour, as will the New Nintendo 2DS XL, so there’s your chance to get your mitts around that interesting handheld.

Nintendo offered the exact rundown of Switch and 3DS titles due to be shown off in the press release we received.

Nintendo Switch games scheduled to appear on the tour include:

  1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  3. 1-2-Switch
  4. Snipperclips – Cut it out, together!
  5. ARMS
  6. Splatoon 2
  7. Super Bomberman R
  8. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers
  9. Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition

Nintendo 3DS games scheduled to appear on the tour include:

  1. Pokémon Sun
  2. Pokémon Moon
  3. Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS
  4. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
  5. Hey! PIKMIN
  6. Miitopia

For more details, and to see if your city (or a city relatively close to you) made the list of tour stops, visit the events page in the source at the base of this post.

Anyone ever been to one of these things? How’d it go?
