Xbox One S just got a lot more 4K content

Amazon Video customers, rejoice! You can finally stream content in 4K on the Xbox One S, thanks to an update that arrived for the Amazon Video application on Monday.

Up until now, only Roku, Nvidia Shield and some Smart TV owners could enjoy Amazon Video’s substantial library of Ultra HD movies and TV shows.

Strangely, the PlayStation 4 Pro is still missing from the list — and Microsoft’s loving it, because it can still brand the Xbox One S as “the only console that lets you stream 4K video content.”

To update to the latest version of Amazon Video on your Xbox One S, simply open up the application, then press Update when prompted to (Yes, that’s really all you have to do).
