Amazon Channels goes live in the U.K.

Amazon Channels is now available in the United Kingdom, providing access to a large number of premium TV channels for a low monthly fee. Prices start at as little as £1.49 (approx. $1.93), and content can be enjoyed on a host of devices, including phones and tablets. You never have to worry about contracts, either.

Many of us subscribe to some kind of premium TV service, yet we never watch over half of the channels that come with it. With Amazon Channels, you can pick and choose your providers, so you only pay for the content you actually want to watch. Each one is available for live-streaming through a web browser or the Amazon Video app.

That means you can enjoy Amazon Channels on almost any device, including your Android or iOS phones and tablets, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, your desktop computer, games consoles, and your smart TV. You can use your Amazon account to pay for your subscription, and because there are no contracts, you’re free to leave at any time.

The list of Amazon Channels providers currently includes the likes of Comic Con HQ, Discovery, Eurosport Player, Filmbox, hayu, ITV Hub+, MGM, and Studio Universal Classics. Some channels cost just £1.49 a month, though others — such as Daily Burn — will cost as much as £9.99 (approx. $13) a month. You can pick and choose as many as you want.

Free trials are available for some of the channels, so you’ll have the opportunity to try Amazon Channels before you sign up. Follow the source link below to find out more.
