LG took the wraps off its latest phone: the X Venture. It is a rugged device that promises to withstand even the toughest situations.

The key feature of the X Venture that is its rugged build of plastic and rubber, topped off with a IP68 rating. The X Venture has been MIL-STD 810G tested, ensuring maximum durability. It can supposedly withstand any drop, terrain or surface with its water, dust and shock-proof design. Making the rough exterior more appealing is a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 16MP main camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 32GB of storage and a fingerprint scanner. It also comes with Quick Charge support, so you top off the battery from zero to 100 percent in under two hours.

LG also added a few other design touches that make it easier to use outdoors. The X Ventur features special non-slip buttons that are easier to press, a QuickButton on the side that can be configured to any app or task, and glove touch mode that makes it easier to use the display when using gloves.

The X Venture will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

LG is partnering up with AT&T and offering the X Venture as an AT&T exclusive. Customers can pick it up for $11 per month through a 30-month financing plan. That comes out to $330, but it’s still unconfirmed if that will be the price if purchase outright.

The LG X Venture will go on sale May 26, 2017 through AT&T.
