If you’ve been curious about the multiplayer mode for a game or just want to keep your kids occupied for a weekend, you’re in luck. Xbox Live’s multiplayer, normally a primary feature of its paid subscription, is free this weekend. Going on now, up through Sunday, you can check out the multiplayer mode for any Xbox One or Xbox 360 game without having a paid subscription.

Minecraft is free for a couple days

While this promo is going on, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is also free to download and play for the duration of the event. If you’ve somehow missed this juggernaut of a game, this is the perfect way to check it out.

The promotionĀ is already live, and ends on Sunday, so you have plenty of time to jump on and play.
