Honor has started sending out a cryptic invitation to an event it’s holding in Berlin on Tuesday, June 27, and all signs point towards it using the gathering as an opportunity to take the wraps off the long-awaited Honor 9, which is believed to be the firm’s flagship for 2017.
As far as specs go, the Honor 9 is slated to pack a dual-lens rear camera system — likely the device’s signature feature — comprising of both a 20MP monochrome and regular 12MP sensor, a Kirin 960 System-on-Chip (SoC), 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
We can’t see the Honor 9 carrying a price tag of more than $400
Unfortunately, details with regards to pricing and availability are virtually non-existent. Although, we can’t envisage the Honor 9 carrying a price tag of more than $400, as that would almost certainly take away the affordable appeal Honor typically brings to the table with its high-end smartphones.
