Twitch has been reaching back a few decades to pull up some of the greatest television shows ever made for a run of streaming marathons. Before now, we’ve seen marathons featuring the iconic Bob Ross and Julia Child. Next? Next is Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, a series so many of us grew up on. It’s also one that remains a cultural touchstone today.

Twitch will steam all 886 episodes starting on May 15th at 12:00 p.m. PT. The stream will be hosted on Some of the 886 episodes have only been aired once in TV history, so this will be a brand new adventure for a lot of us, even the most hardcore fans of the sweater-wearing hero.

There’s a lot more in store, too

This Mister Rogers streaming marathon will feature more than just the chilled out TV show. Chat users on Twitch will have a new set of emoji to go nuts in their own virtual neighborhood.

Even further, Twitch has decided to connect this whole thing to PBS, the broadcasting home of Mister Rogers. Viewers of the stream will have quick and easy access to donating to PBS while they watch the show.

Finally, Twitch is offering a contest to win one of 100 purple cardigans… because, of course they are. You simply have to host the livestream. Hit the source link to learn more about that.
