OnePlus discontinues the OnePlus 3T with 128GB of storage

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has reportedly discontinued the 128GB variant of the OnePlus 3T so it can focus its attention on “one flagship device,” likely referring to the long-rumored OnePlus 5, which is set to be released this summer.

Those interested in the OnePlus 3T can still pick one up with 64GB of storage, and it doesn’t look like that model is going to be disappearing anytime soon as it’s expected to retail alongside the OnePlus 5 when it finally hits the shelves.

A recent, though slightly unreliable, product listing suggests that the OnePlus 5 will pack a Snapdragon 835 CPU, 6GB of RAM, a 12MP dual-lens rear-facing camera, an 8MP front camera and a 3,600mAh battery capable of charing 25 percent faster than the OnePlus 3T.

As we noted yesterday, some retailers claim the OnePlus 5 will retail for $449, while others believe it could carry a price tag as high as $688. However, the former seems a lot more likely as it lines up with what we’ve seen from the firm in the past.
