The OnePlus 5 appears as though it will be an absolute speed demon once it hits the market some time this summer.

GSM Arena has been provided with a GeekBench score from a reliable source for the OnePlus 5. How well did the upcoming phone score? Pretty darn good it appears.

OnePlus 5 geekbench test 05-09-17

The OnePlus 5 scored 1963 on the Single-Core and a 6687 for the Multi-Core. As to how this stacks up against other current phones, it puts it on top of the charts for the Multi-Core with the next highest device currently being the Samsung Galaxy 8+ with a score of 6375. For the single-core score, the OnePlus 5 came in third behind the iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S8+.

Beyond the score, the screenshot also revealed that the OnePlus 5’s version of Oxygen OS will be based off of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

As with all pre-release scores such as this, you need to remember that we have no clue how the phone was setup, what software it was running and so on. All that being said, it does appear the OnePlus 5 is going to be one to keep your eye on when it launches this summer.
