Just a couple of days after OnePlus CEO Pete Lau took to Weibo to tease the much-anticipated OnePlus 5, a set of purported specifications for the handset have surfaced online.
According to a source who claims to be familiar with the firm’s plans, the OnePlus 5 sports a Snapdragon 835 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage and a vertically-positioned dual-lens camera.
In addition, the handset is also believed to pack a 3,600mAh non-removable battery capable of charging 25 percent faster than the OnePlus 3T, which made its debut back in November, 2016.
Sadly, there’s no word on the variant with 8GB of RAM we heard about last month, though we expect OnePlus to release it in select markets, like China, shortly after the standard model hits the shelves.
Take this with a grain of salt
As with all rumors, this information should be taken with a grain of salt as there’s next to no evidence pointing towards the handset shipping with any of the aforementioned internals. Hopefully there will be some solid news soon.
