If you’re looking to take the battlefield as a female in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII, I have good news for you. The multiplayer mode will allow for women soldiers, regardless of any debate we can have here about how historically correct that decision is.
The word was confirmed on Twitter in an exchange with a fan and his worried wife and Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey. Here’s that tweet.
@indy8818 Yes, for sure!

“Yes, for sure!” exudes the type of confidence that indicates this was a no-brainer for Sledgehammer, a developer clearly looking to make their upcoming effort more inclusive.
But, ladies?!?!? Listen…
If you’re getting all up in arms about the inclusion of female soldiers in Call of Duty: WWII‘s multiplayer mode, I want you to take a breath. Then I want you to remember that this is a franchise that’s included a Zombie Mode almost every single year for like the last decade.
It’s okay, we’ll all be okay.
Call of Duty: WWII will release for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 3, 2017.
