Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update begins its phased rollout

Microsoft has initiated its phased rollout of the long-awaited Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update for supported handsets, including the Alcatel IDOL 4s, HP Elite x3 and VAIO Phone Biz.

“The Creators Update will enable anyone to create, share and experience in 3D and mixed reality, connect people faster to those they care about most and empower every gamer to be a broadcaster,” says the firm.

The full list of devices eligible for the upgrade can be seen below:

What if your smartphone isn’t on the list?

As mentioned by Windows Central, if you’re using a smartphone that’s no longer supported by Microsoft, you won’t be able to install the Creators Update, though you should still receive important security patches for the foreseeable future.
