Alien: Isolation 2 might be Creative Assembly’s next project

With this rumor, I’m both happy and exceptionally frustrated. I’m happy that the Alien universe may have yet another gem of a video game on its hands, and I’m frustrated because I’ll likely never play it. That’s because I’m a chicken.

Creative Assembly, the studio behind Halo Wars 2 and Alien: Isolation, might be at work on a sequel to that first stunner of an Alien affair.

The word comes from the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, by way of PSU. It’s a quick blurb in their rumor section.

“Our sources tell us that after work is finished on Halo Wars 2, a new Alien game may start development over at Alien Isolation dev Creative Assembly.”

Scream with joy, then in terror

By almost all accounts, Alien: Isolation was a beautiful, fantastic and terrifying video game. If you fans out there want more of that action, I hope this works out in your favor. I love the film franchise, and I adore the notion of this line of games.

Stay tuned.
