New screens offer very first (and very tiny) look at Call of Duty: WWII

Call of Duty: WWII isn’t set to be revealed until Wednesday, but what’s a new year without some Call of Duty leaks? We picked up a few story details on Tuesday morning, but now we have a few images courtesy Charlie Intel.

They’re tiny, alright

Charlie Intel spotted these images over on the official Call of Duty login page, though they appear to have changed since the discovery. They’re pretty tiny images, but they’re already looking great. We haven’t had a World War II game yet this generation, and I’m interested to see how visually authentic Activision’s Sledgehammer team can get the game looking.

If they can take the subject seriously like EA and Dice did with Battlefield 1, it could make for the best Call of Duty in years.

The official reveal is at 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, April 26, so we’ll have a better idea very soon.
