T-Mobile is already shipping Galaxy S8 pre-orders

by Danny Zepeda | April 14, 2017April 14, 2017 12:00 pm PDT

If you ordered a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus through T-Mobile, today is your lucky day. It appears pre-orders for the device have already begun shipping and will arrive ahead of the April 21 launch day. The early shipments were first spotted by Phandroid on Android Forums where T-Mobile customers are sharing the fortuitous news.

This is becoming common for T-Mobile customers. The G6 shipped early and the company already told its customers the Galaxy S8 would be arriving April 19—two days ahead of when the device will be available in stores. With customers receiving notifications of shipment today, their devices might arrive even earlier than April 19.

Sorry AT&T, Verizon and Sprint customers, you’re not getting your device early

At this point, it doesn’t look as though any other carrier has begun shipping the Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus early. But the good news is even if your device hasn’t shipped, it’ll be in stores next Friday, so you don’t have to wait too much longer.
