It’s now easier than ever to link your card to Android Pay

Google has teamed up with Bank of America, Bank of New Zealand, Discover, mBank and USAA to make it even easier for customers to use Android Pay, by providing users with the facility to add their cards to the mobile payment platform from their banking app with just the click of a button.

“This latest collaboration with banks expands Android Pay’s capabilities as an open platform and moves us closer toward our goal of empowering mobile payments everywhere. We’re continuing to integrate with additional mobile banking apps, so look for updates from your bank about this new feature,” writes the firm.

Android Pay works at millions of stores

After completing the configuration process, customers will be able to use their smartphone to tap and pay at “millions of stores” and whenever they see the Android Pay button in their favorite applications and on the mobile web. Best of all, the service will send users a notification after each successful transaction.

Happy spending!
