A single fan on Twitter saw an innocent question ramp up into a full-blown war of approval over the weekend. He only asked which of the two popular MMORPGs he should stick with, World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV, and he quickly found himself stuck in the middle of an epic Twitter-flexing competition.
As you can see, it starts out innocent enough.

But Blizzard fired the first shots, starting a chain reaction that spread to a competition over the games’ content.

The original poster returned after the fuming war, and he merely redeclared that he was still undecided after Square Enix and Blizzard laid waste to his Twitter page.
