Apple wants to sell access to HBO, Showtime and Starz in a single bundle

Apple is in talks with HBO, Showtime and Starz to offer customers access to all three networks as part of a single bundle available on the Apple TV, iPad, iPod and iPhone, reveals Recode. However, it’s currently unclear whether subscribers will receive a discount on the price it costs to access each service individually.

No agreements in place

Unfortunately, sources familiar with the matter claim the firm doesn’t have any agreements in place as of yet — so it’s perfectly possible the bundle will never see the light of day. We have to say, though, it seems more likely to materialize than Apple’s previous plan to create a service similar to PlayStation Vue and Sling TV.
