Destiny’s last update brings back the infamous Peter Dinklage line

I lieu of the confirmation of Destiny 2, Bungie is also winding down the updates for the original game. One final update to the game actually brings back a piece of the game’s content that was cut because it’s quite horrible. However, that doesn’t mean it has to be hated.

Peter Dinklage was the original actor to play the Ghost in Destiny, but his Hollywood schedule didn’t allow him to be available for as long as Bungie needed him. He was eventually replaced by gaming mainstay Nolan North, leaving all of his voice acting lost into nothingness.

Not that there was anything wrong with his delivery. All of his lines were delivered excellently… well… except for one, and that’s the one that coming back.

That wizard came from the moon

This line set off Destiny’s first meme, and it was both loved and despised by the ironic among us and despised by those who demand perfection in video games. Bungie ultimately cut the line, but it is bringing it back as a tribute to the game’s three-year run.
