A couple of images showcasing the retail box of the Verizon-branded variant of the Galaxy S8 Plus have surfaced online, detailing the accessories that the handset is set to ship with.
In addition to a charger and a pair of earphones (rumored to be manufactured by AKG), it would appear that the Galaxy S8 Plus will also come with both a Micro USB and USB connector, similar to the ones bundled with now-recalled Galaxy Note 7 (pictured below).
The design of the box itself is almost identical to the packaging the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge come in. It’s presumably constructed from cardboard and has the handset’s model name etched into the front.
With regards to specifications
With regards to specifications, recent rumors point towards the Galaxy S8 Plus sporting a 6.2-inch Infinity Display, a Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, a 12MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP selfie shooter and a 3,500mAh battery.
Samsung is also expected to launch a smaller variant, called the Galaxy S8. It’s believed to pack almost identical internals, though it’ll have a more compact 5.8-inch panel and a less beefy 3,000mAh cell.
