It probably wouldn’t be a Monday if we weren’t treated to a Galaxy S8 leak — and today we’re feasting our eyes on three new images. All of the pictures originate from Chinese social networking website Weibo, with the first giving us yet another side-by-side look at the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, the second showing off the smaller model in a gorgeous gold hue and the third apparently highlighting the latter’s battery.
Check them out below:
As expected, this latest set of photographs corroborates everything we’ve heard about both handsets, including that they’ll sport a curved Infinity Display, furnished with a set on-screen navigation buttons. The shot of the Galaxy S8 Plus’ cell also seemingly confirms that it’ll have a capacity of 3,500mAh (although, that’s probably not large enough).
Let’s talk about specs
Recent rumors point towards the Galaxy S8 sporting a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a Snapdragon 835 octa-core CPU, a 12MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP selfie shooter and a 3,000mAh power pack. The Galaxy S8 Plus, on the other hand, is said to ship with identical internals, but it will have a 6.2-inch screen and, of course, a bigger battery.
Fortunately, we won’t have to rely on speculation for much longer as Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus at a dedicated event in New York City on Wednesday, March 29.
