New iPhone 8 concept renders may be most realistic yet

Recently, we’ve heard a lot of rumors pertaining to the so-called iPhone 8 — and now a set of renders created by Benjamin Geskin for iDropNews could show us what the handset will look like when it’s announced later this year.

Heavily based on credible reports, the images showcase an iPhone with an edge-to-edge display (presumably the 5.8-inch variant) and a Touch Bar-style function area, which is said to replace the traditional home button and house a fingerprint scanner.

Not the first batch of renders

It’s worth noting that while this isn’t the first batch of renders we’ve seen, it certainly looks like the most realistic set, though we’d be foolish if we didn’t point out that the device appears to be based on the leaked press image of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8.
